Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), also known as drones are increasingly used in security for various applications, including surveillance, emergency response, crowd control, infrastructure inspection, border security, and law enforcement. They offer numerous benefits such as enhanced surveillance capabilities, rapid deployment, cost-effectiveness, and access to difficult areas.
However, challenges such as regulatory compliance, privacy concerns, technical limitations, and security risks must be addressed. Training is crucial for ensuring safe, legal, and efficient drone operations.
Proper training encompasses theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and regulatory compliance. The CAA-approved certifications, such as the A2 Certificate of Competency (A2 CofC) and General VLOS Certificate (GVC), are essential for commercial drone pilots. Advanced and specialised training further enhances the capabilities of drone operators, making them well-equipped to handle various applications and scenarios.
We also offer complex and bespoke scenario-based training covering aspects of patrolling, perimeter security, urban surveillance, incident assessment, search and rescue, disaster management, event security, critical infrastructure inspection and protection, building security, border patrol and maritime security.
We train with sensors including visible light cameras, optical zoom cameras, thermal imaging cameras, LiDAR, and ground penetrating radar.
Our Aviation training team include industry specialists and qualified airline pilots, all using our bespoke training materials produced specifically for our scenario-based training.
Our Airborne Asset Management and Deconfliction Program trains security managers on the ground to safely manage multiple assets in an area to provide best coverage with minimal risk. Our UAS Management training provides the necessary support at Senior Management Level to provide corporate reassurance of maximum protection from risk.
